i'm looking for homopus, psammobates, pixys and chersinas if anyone know where to buy it for a fair price let me know .i'm waiting for a contact from my friend in south africa maybe i could achieve some homopus psammobates and chersinas .it's quite amazing as chersinas are like a "plague" there and are forbidden to sell and export . my friend feed dozens everyday and they live near his country house .

Homopus and Psammobates are very fragile species too (perhaps much more than the kleinmani). Some members here own those species I'm sure they are going to MP you to share their experience ;) Are you a permit holder ?
You can sometimes by them in Spain legally imported by Ivixotics http://www.ivixotics.org/
They are sold in Germany too by Globalherp.com
They sell Homopus signatus (cost a bomb) 2 adult breeders + 1 unsexed CH juvenile for 8750 € :0

I've read an american article comparing the indoor and outdoor captive keeping of T G terrestris I'll try to find it again.
I know that golden greeks are kept in A Cupulatta (tortoise park in Corsica http://www.acupulatta.com/ ) I m sure they will accept to exchange golden juveniles when you'll get hatchlings.

from my readings homopus aint that fragile .. anyway i understand what you mean . there's a trio of psammobates tentorius in madrid-spain(which i doubt its legality) for JUST 15000€ . these guys are totally crazy , i mean there's some guys who travel from madagascar and south africa marrocos etc with illegal business most of the times , animals in very poor conditions , dehydrated , no quarantined , travelling many times across africa for a month or so in a box/bag and then in europe they reach those crazy prices .
there's no concept of herp breeder in portugal so i'm no legal holder , only have fully documentated my animals .
about your contacts , thank you , ivan aka ivi is a friend of mine :)
will wait for those articles from TGTerrestris from you , thanks in advance .
Acupulatta i know them too ,looking forward to have a chance to go there someday.
thanks for everything Frenchy :)

Some species were legally unavailable 10 years ago but now european captive-born hatchlings are magically available :0 Some are legally imported (quotas) but some of them are fake legal CB tortoises illegaly imported and then "legalized" by corrupted persons (G.platynota, etc...). In Germany you can now find A.yniphora "Captive born" with european cites documents (surely illegaly bought in Thailand and then "legalized" in eastern europe).
