Hello everybody,

I have created a website about Batrachemys for a course on my university. It is a work in progress, especially on the content, but I am positive that I will do some more work during the summer.

Maybe I will expand the gallery and the site about husbandry a bit.

Currently my site provides short information about the genus Batrachemys and shall be a source for turtle - interested people. If you find anything incorrect or something which isn't "real" English, please let me know!

Ciao a tutti,

the wall is made of YTONG (r). To make it waterproof I used 1mm thick pond cloth.

do you have some photo while you where constructing it ?
how do you fix ytong to the wall and floor ? using concrete ?
how much is the thickness of the ytong ?

Unfortunately I don't have pictures of the construction part. There is a special kind of concrete that is used for YTONG. The YTONG bricks were 12cm thick, but I believe that the thickness of the outside walls is not that important. more important is the stability of the ground.

Maybe I will. Some Asutrian people organize a bus to make the journey cheaper, but it all depends on my financial situation in September ;)
